Flow 2 is here
Today we are launching Tokensmart Flow 2 — our biggest upgrade since launch. The goal is simple: let you use the best models at the lowest cost with zero migration effort.
What's new
1. Unified protocol
Until now you had to use the OpenAI SDK for OpenAI and the Anthropic SDK for Claude. After Flow 2, any SDK works with any model — just point base_url at api.tokensmart.ai.
We handle protocol translation on the backend. Your code does not change.
2. Bundles: OpenAI / Claude / Gemini
Three curated packages for different needs:
- OpenAI Bundle — GPT-5, o3, DALL-E
- Claude Bundle — Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5
- Gemini Bundle — Gemini 2.5 Pro, Flash, Nano
Or stick with the default pay-as-you-go and call anything.
3. Studio Chat upgrade
The built-in Studio Chat (in the dashboard) is fully upgraded:
- Side-by-side comparison across multiple models
- Image and file upload for multimodal input
- Persistent chat history
When to use which
- Pay-as-you-go: zero monthly fee, pay per call. Best for production integrations
- Bundles: flat monthly fee, lower per-call price. Best for high-volume usage
